How to remove Streak CRM from Gmail

Streak is a powerful tool for managing your emails, but there may come a time when you need to uninstall it. This guide will walk you through the process of removing Streak from your browser and Gmail account.

Important Note: Uninstalling Streak does not automatically cancel your subscription. To avoid unexpected charges, we recommend canceling your subscription before proceeding with the uninstallation.

Streak can be installed in two different ways:

  1. As a browser extension on your desktop computer
  2. As a Gmail add-on, accessible from any device where you use Gmail

Let's go through the removal process for each installation type:

  1. Removing the Browser Extension

For Chrome users:

  • Open your Extensions page (chrome://extensions)
  • Find Streak in the list
  • Click "Remove" or use the three-dot menu to select "Remove from Chrome"
  • Confirm the removal
  • Refresh Gmail after uninstallation

For Safari users:

  • Open Safari Preferences and go to the Extensions tab
  • Uncheck Streak and Streak Helper
  • Uninstall the Streak application from your Applications folder
  • Return to the Extensions tab and click "Uninstall" for both Streak and Streak Helper
  • Restart Safari to apply changes

For Google Apps users:

  • Access your Google Apps admin console
  • Navigate to Marketplace Apps
  • Find Streak and click "Remove App"
  1. Removing the Gmail Add-on
  • Open Gmail Settings and go to the Add-ons tab
  • Click "Manage" under Installed add-ons
  • Use the three-dot menu to select "Remove"

Note: G Suite users may need administrator assistance to remove the add-on.

  1. Deauthorizing Streak from Your Google Account
  • Log into the relevant Gmail account
  • Go to the account's Permissions page
  • Find Streak under "Third-party apps with account access"
  • Click "Remove Access"
  • Refresh Gmail

By following these steps, you'll ensure that Streak is completely removed from your browser and Gmail account. Remember to cancel your subscription if you haven't already done so to prevent any future charges.
