How to remove Streak CRM from Gmail
Streak is a powerful tool for managing your emails, but there may come a time when you need to uninstall it. This guide will walk you through the process of removing Streak from your browser and Gmail account.
Important Note: Uninstalling Streak does not automatically cancel your subscription. To avoid unexpected charges, we recommend canceling your subscription before proceeding with the uninstallation.
Streak can be installed in two different ways:
- As a browser extension on your desktop computer
- As a Gmail add-on, accessible from any device where you use Gmail
Let's go through the removal process for each installation type:
- Removing the Browser Extension
For Chrome users:
- Open your Extensions page (chrome://extensions)
- Find Streak in the list
- Click "Remove" or use the three-dot menu to select "Remove from Chrome"
- Confirm the removal
- Refresh Gmail after uninstallation
For Safari users:
- Open Safari Preferences and go to the Extensions tab
- Uncheck Streak and Streak Helper
- Uninstall the Streak application from your Applications folder
- Return to the Extensions tab and click "Uninstall" for both Streak and Streak Helper
- Restart Safari to apply changes
For Google Apps users:
- Access your Google Apps admin console
- Navigate to Marketplace Apps
- Find Streak and click "Remove App"
- Removing the Gmail Add-on
- Open Gmail Settings and go to the Add-ons tab
- Click "Manage" under Installed add-ons
- Use the three-dot menu to select "Remove"
Note: G Suite users may need administrator assistance to remove the add-on.
- Deauthorizing Streak from Your Google Account
- Log into the relevant Gmail account
- Go to the account's Permissions page
- Find Streak under "Third-party apps with account access"
- Click "Remove Access"
- Refresh Gmail
