Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 3, 2026

Teamopipe ("Teamopipe", "we", "us") is a Gmail-integrated CRM operated by a company registered in the Republic of Latvia. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have when you use our website (teamopipe.com), web app (app.teamopipe.com), and Chrome extension (together, the "Service").

1. Who this policy covers

We act as the data controller for personal data about you as a user — your account details, billing information, and usage data. For the CRM records you store in Teamopipe (your contacts, deals, notes, and linked emails), you are the controller and we act as a data processor, handling that data only to provide the Service to you.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and Google profile picture when you sign in with your Google account.
  • CRM data you store: contacts, organizations, deals, notes, tasks, and the email threads you choose to link to CRM records.
  • Payment information: paid subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We receive your subscription status and billing history; we never receive or store your full card details.
  • Usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and feature usage, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Support communications: messages you send us via the contact form or website chat.

3. Google user data and Limited Use disclosure

Teamopipe works inside Gmail and requests access to Google user data through Google's APIs. We access only what the product needs: basic profile information (name, email address, avatar) to create and identify your account, and the content and metadata of email threads you explicitly link to a contact or deal, so they can be shared with your workspace members.

Teamopipe's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy (developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:

  • We only use Google user data to provide and improve user-facing features of Teamopipe.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with prior notice to you.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
  • We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless you give us explicit permission (for example, during a support request), it is necessary for security or legal compliance, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
  • We do not use Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

4. How we use your data

  • To provide and operate the Service, including syncing linked email threads with your workspace members.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To respond to support requests and communicate about your account.
  • To send product updates and occasional marketing emails — you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email.
  • To monitor errors, keep the Service secure, and improve performance.
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements.

5. Legal bases for processing

Under the GDPR, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (providing the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, error monitoring, product improvement, and limited direct marketing to existing customers), consent (non-essential cookies and marketing where consent is required), and compliance with legal obligations (accounting and tax records).

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, under agreements that restrict how they may use it:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers located in the European Union.
  • Google — authentication and Gmail integration.
  • Lemon Squeezy — payment processing, as our merchant of record.
  • Analytics, error monitoring, and customer support / chat tools.

We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public. A current list of subprocessors is available on request via the contact form.

7. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to delete it, we remove your personal data and CRM data within 30 days, except for residual copies in backups (which are rotated on a fixed schedule) and records we are legally required to keep for tax or accounting purposes.

8. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or a jurisdiction with similar protections, you have the right to access a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, export it in a portable format, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact form at teamopipe.com/en/contact. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in Latvia this is the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv).

9. International transfers

Your data is stored and processed primarily in the European Union. Where a service provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we treat email data with particular care and monitor the Service continuously for issues.

11. Children

The Service is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Cookies

For details on the cookies we use and how to manage them, see our Cookie Policy at teamopipe.com/en/policies/cookie-policy.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. We will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date; for significant changes we will also notify you by email or in the app.

14. Contact

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, reach us via the contact form at teamopipe.com/en/contact or the chat in the bottom-right corner of the website.
